Songbird Pottery is located in a very special corner of Vermont that has come to be known as the "Northeast Kingdom". Here we produce a range of functional and decorative wares which blend practical use with lively glazes to create work that is uniquely traditional yet contemporary.
Clays from the banks of the region's many streams and rivers as well as wood ashes derived from such native trees as the sugar maple, birch and beech- all are used in the glazes which cover our pots. Songbird Pottery is truly a part of the place where it is made and is meant to be used and enjoyed for generations to come.
Handmade in Vermont, these stoneware pottery beanpots, maple syrup jugs and other items are a true part of the great New England crafts tradition.
